The Souverän has been around for decades, and its familiar (usually) striped barrel, with its famed differentiated piston mechanism and well-known ink-viewing window, is probably the most recognized among Pelikan’s range of pens. Originally debuting in 1950 in a black and green pattern, the Model 400 was launched and christened Souverän in the 1980s….
