Popular Nottingham independent to close after 38 years in the city

Specialist writing instrument retailer Pen Sense, a familiar sight just off Old Market Square for almost four decades, is to close its doors next week.

The business at 5, King Street, will close on 10th February, 2018 because of retirement.

But it’s not all bad news, the business has been sold to new owners and will continue to operate online at http://www.pensense.co.uk ( under construction ) and at Devonshire Square in Loughborough….

…Pen Sense was established in July 1980, by Amarjeet and Gillian Panesar. Initially their aim was to offer a wide range of writing instruments along with the expertise necessary to sell them….
