Using fountain pens is not a hobby for those who are prone to misplacing their pens.
Fortunately this has not happened often, but I have lost pens that I’ve found later, and I’ve lost pens that I have never found. Worst though is one that I’m certain was stolen, although that pales in comparison to the theft of my grandfather’s watch.
Return of the precious
Things are replaceable, people aren’t. But how does a writer cope with the disappearance of a cherished fountain pen?

In all of the above, about a hundred times or more, because who knows what you might have missed, and maybe by magic it would materialise in the spot where it wasn’t two minutes ago….
