Dog lover and pen lover? Look here

I am both a dog lover and, as you probably figured out, a fountain pen aficionado.  As soon as I saw this I went to the Kickstarter page, although the last one of their pen projects in which I was involved was a lukewarm product (in my opinion.)  This will be produced by Retro 51 so should be a decent product.

ANN ARBOR, Michigan – October 15, 2015 – “Paws,” a new, acid-etched pewter finish fountain pen, was recently announced by iPenstore. There is nothing better than to come home and be greeted by a dog with his big smile and wagging tail!  With this as their inspiration, iPenstore is launching a Kickstarter project as a way to fund the production set up costs for the first batch of 500 pens. It will also include the cost to produce the mold for the custom “dog bone” clip. They have selected Retro 51 to produce the pen because of their outstanding history of producing top quality, highly-collectible pens.

Each “Paws” pen is equipped with a German-made nib from Schmidt in the consumer’s choice of Fine, Medium or Broad point. Nibs are easy to replace! They simply screw into the grip section. This fun, new fountain pen takes the standard size international ink cartridge or fills from a bottle of ink with the piston converter, both included. However, before everyone can enjoy this dog-loving fountain pen, iPenstore needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $4,000 by November 3, 2015. The funds raised will go towards production costs for the first batch of these awesome pens.
